Ideal for classrooms and makerspaces, it combines safe tools, mechanical design kits, and literacy integration for a full creative experience. The Makedo INVENT kit equips up to 24 students with kid-friendly saws, screwdrivers, and connectors to turn cardboard into forts, vehicles, or sculptures—developing design thinking through playful exploration. For more advanced projects, the ChompSaw Inventor’s Bundle adds safe electric jigsaws for precision cutting, introducing real-world tool use in a classroom-safe format. Students then dive into mechanics with KiwiCo's Automaton Classroom Pack and architecture with 3DuxDesign’s GoBox system—reusable connectors and mats that let learners build cities, bridges, and interactive machines. The Boxitects Book-N-Build kit fuses storytelling with STEM, guiding students to read, imagine, and engineer their own box-based inventions. A Gratnells MakerSpace Cart organizes all materials with labeled trays and pegboard storage, giving educators a mobile, classroom-friendly maker hub. Target Audience: K–5 educators in classrooms, makerspaces, or enrichment programs introducing young learners to design, engineering, and creative problem-solving through cardboard construction.   Key Highlights: Safe & Empowering Tools: Kids as young as 5 can confidently construct with the Makedo kit’s child-friendly saws and scru-fasteners, while the ChompSaw provides an exciting but safe introduction to power tools for older elementary students. This bundle emphasizes active learning by doing, with tools that are right-sized for little hands and big imaginations. STEAM & Storytelling: It’s not just about building – it’s about expression. Students learn engineering concepts (like leverage, stability, and mechanical motion) through Automaton and 3DuxDesign challenges, blending art and science. The Boxitects book module adds a literacy component that nurtures collaboration and creativity, proving that reading and making are perfect partners. Infinite Creativity, Minimal Costs: By upcycling everyday cardboard (e.g. shipping boxes), this bundle teaches sustainability and ingenuity. The 3Dux connectors and Makedo screws are reusable, so students can prototype, take apart, and prototype again – an authentic design cycle – without consuming tons of new materials. They’ll see that with imagination, a simple box can become anything from a robot costume to a model city to a working windmill. Classroom-Friendly Implementation: Whether it’s a one-day STEM challenge or a semester-long maker unit, educators have the support they need. The included lesson plans (e.g. KiwiCo’s automaton lessons, 3Dux’s design challenges, and the Boxitects curriculum) provide structured guidance and ideas. Plus, the durable Gratnells MakerSpace Cart keeps everything organized and secure (even during that controlled chaos of creative construction!). Teachers can spend less time managing materials and more time facilitating fun, deep learning.   What's Included: (1) Makedo INVENT - 360pc Kit for 12-24 Makers (4) ChompSaw Inventor's Bundle (4) Chomp Chow, Classroom Pack: Includes Cardboard, Cardstock, Foam, and Felt (1) Gratnells MakerSpace Cart with 3 Deep & 12 Shallow Trays (4) Gratnells SortED Removable Tray Inserts (1) KiwiCo-Automaton Mechanics Classroom Pack (1) 3Dux GOBOX - Classroom Set (4) 3Dux Design Flexible Sitemap Mat (1) Book-N-Build: Boxitects (1) STEM 101-Makerspace-Virtual PD - 2 Hour Session   Special Notes and Considerations: Custom Bundles: Not seeing a bundle that fits your classroom or afterschool needs?
