Classical Plain Porcelain Dinner Plate

Hand made using traditional techniques, this dinner plate is pared back and stylish, designed purposely to elevate every mealtime into something special. The Classical Plain Porcelain tableware range has an off white tone and it is fired at an exceptionally high heat, making it very robust and suitable for everyday use but refined enough for entertaining. John Julian is a pottery studio and workshop based in rural Wiltshire, England. The workshop was set up by sculptor and designer Julian Sainsbury in 2013 after he became disheartened with the restrictions of conventional mass manufacturing. They produce handmade tableware made in small batches by skilled potters. Every piece they make, whether it is a plate, bowl or pestle and mortar, is shaped from raw clay with care and craftsmanship, leaving an imprint that only hand crafted pieces can have. They hold a story of tradition and skill and bring craftsmanship to your table 10.66" diameter Fully glazed and beautifully tactile Dishwasher and microwave safe Handmade in England
