The real difference comes down to the mattress cover. The cover on the Relief Wave co sleeper mattress is designed to keep allergens out. It stops pollen, dander, and other common household allergens from penetrating into the mattress, so that your little one can snooze easily without a stuffy nose. See more about the Relief Wave Mattress Pad here. ▸Do I need sheets? Can I use the bedside sleeper mattress without sheets? You technically can use this bedside sleeper mattress without sheets or an additional mattress protector, but we don’t recommend it. Leaky diapers are just a fact of life when you have a little one, and relying on one mattress cover to get the job done could leave you running the washing machine on the daily. Additional sheets or bedside sleeper mattress covers give you more time between washing loads, and help make sure that you always have a clean set for your little one to sleep with. ▸Is this baby mattress hypoallergenic? The cotton cover of the Classic Wave Mattress Pad is naturally hypoallergenic. However, it’s not designed to help keep allergens out. If you want more allergy relief from your baby mattress and baby mattress cover, try the Relief Wave Mattress Pad.▸Is the cover on this baby mattress water resistant? No. Natural cotton is a beautifully breathable material for your little one to sleep on, but it is not waterproof. If you want full water resistance for your co sleeper mattress, try the Dry Comfort Mattress Protector. ▸Does this baby mattress fit pre-2020 babybay models? No, it does not.▸Does this baby mattress fit other bedside sleepers that aren’t babybay?Nope! This baby mattress is made to perfectly fit the hallmark curve of babybay bedside sleeper cribs for a dream-like sleep.▸I love the mattress cover! Can I get extra?Of course! Many families love to have an extra crib mattress zipper cover (or even a couple extra crib mattress zipper covers!) nearby so they can do less loads of laundry while still giving their little one an always-clean sleep space. You can get the Classic Mattress Cover here.
