Classic Soil Probe

The Classic Soil Probe is a 36" one-piece soil sampler. It has an 12" soil tube and a replaceable, screw-on S-2 Regular Soil Tip. An 8" handle is welded on to the probe for convenience.  As a single unit, it's incredibly durable and there's nothing to take apart, so it's easy to grab and go. The 36" soil probe length make this a back saver when working long hours in the fields. It takes a core sample approximately 9" long by 3/4" in width (outer diameter of the probe is 15/16"). The tube is designed to eliminate friction in the tube after cutting the sample. The tube has a non-clogging design with a cut-out in the front to allow for easy soil removal, visual inspection, and cleaning. The sample is unloaded from the tube without binding or compacting. It is marked at 6" intervals to indicate sampling depth.   Made with the exceptional workmanship and materials, this is the best soil probe  for smooth, easy sampling, and long-lasting durability. All Oakfield Apparatus soil tubes are constructed of high-grade nickel chrome plated steel for extra rust, tarnish and corrosion resistance. This probe fits all replaceable screw-on soil tips we offer so you can add tips depending on the soil and moisture conditions you're sampling. Made in the USA. SKU: Model L
