Classic Crackle Varnish

Pentart Classic Crackle Varnish - 2 part component crackle medium. Use to create a crackled, aged effect on your mixed media art projects. Looking for a unique way to add some character to your mixed media art projects? Check out Classic Crackle Varnish by Pentart. Follow the instructions using this two-part process to create an aged, crackled surface on your artwork that is truly one-of-a-kind. Not only does it give your artwork a cool, antique look, but it's also water based so it's easy to use. Simply apply according to the instructions and then highlight the crackles with either antique pastes or pigment pastes. You can even use contrasting colors to really make them pop.  Watch this video for instructions for use (note: the instructions for "Random Crackle Varnish" and "Classic Crackle Varnish" are the same). Instructions for Use: 1. Apply component 1 in an even layer over your project and let it dry completely. 2. After component 1 is completely dry, apply component 2. 3. Highlight the cracks with antique paste, colored waxes, patinas, pigment powders or glazes.  The depth and the network of the cracks depends on the thickness of the layer and on the technique of the application. The layer will dry transparent and waterproof.
