Clark Fork River - Summer Fly Box

Fish the Clark Fork like you know it — because now you do.   The Clark Fork River Summer Fly Box is hand-curated specifically for the conditions, hatches, and trout behavior you'll encounter on the Clark Fork from June through August. Summer brings the Clark Fork into full form. Salmonfly hatches in the canyon sections are spectacular, and caddis and hopper fishing carry through August on the broader lower sections.   This box is built around the Clark Fork's summer hatch calendar — salmonflies, caddis, PMDs, and grasshoppers. Every fly was chosen with dry fly fishing and hopper-dropper rigs in mind, giving you exactly what you need to match what the fish are eating at this time of year.   What's in the box: 36 flies total — 18 unique patterns, 2 of each — covering salmonfly imitations, elk hair caddis, large hoppers, and attractor nymphs. No filler. No patterns that don't belong on this river in this season.   Pro tip from the water: The Clark Fork canyon sections see the salmonfly hatch typically in June. Get there during the hatch window — the fishing can be exceptional and crowds are minimal.   Whether you're making your first trip to the Clark Fork or you fish it every season, this box gives you a proven starting lineup so you can spend more time fishing and less time digging through bins at the fly shop.   Includes a quality waterproof fly box. All flies are hand-tied to Bozeman FlyWorks standards — the same quality we'd put on our own lines.
