Clark Fork River - Spring Fly Box

Fish the Clark Fork like you know it — because now you do.   The Clark Fork River Spring Fly Box is hand-curated specifically for the conditions, hatches, and trout behavior you'll encounter on the Clark Fork from April through early June. Spring on the Clark Fork brings rising flows and active fish. Stonefly nymphs and early caddis carry the fishing before runoff peaks, and the urban access near Missoula makes it an easy early-season option.   This box is built around the Clark Fork's spring hatch calendar — midges, BWOs, and early caddis. Every fly was chosen with nymphing riffles and slower edges in mind, giving you exactly what you need to match what the fish are eating at this time of year.   What's in the box: 36 flies total — 18 unique patterns, 2 of each — covering stonefly nymphs, BWO emergers, midge patterns, and early caddis nymphs. No filler. No patterns that don't belong on this river in this season.   Pro tip from the water: Fish the Clark Fork through Missoula in early spring before runoff. Accessible wade water and hungry fish make it a great season opener.   Whether you're making your first trip to the Clark Fork or you fish it every season, this box gives you a proven starting lineup so you can spend more time fishing and less time digging through bins at the fly shop.   Includes a quality waterproof fly box. All flies are hand-tied to Bozeman FlyWorks standards — the same quality we'd put on our own lines.
