Clark Fork River - Fall Fly Box

Fish the Clark Fork like you know it — because now you do.   The Clark Fork River Fall Fly Box is hand-curated specifically for the conditions, hatches, and trout behavior you'll encounter on the Clark Fork from September through November. Fall on the Clark Fork offers BWO hatches, streamer opportunities, and the chance at some of the largest brown trout of the year. The river fishes well from September through November.   This box is built around the Clark Fork's fall hatch calendar — blue-winged olives and late caddis. Every fly was chosen with streamer fishing and dry fly fishing during BWO hatches in mind, giving you exactly what you need to match what the fish are eating at this time of year.   What's in the box: 36 flies total — 18 unique patterns, 2 of each — covering large streamers, BWO dries, mahogany duns, and big soft hackles. No filler. No patterns that don't belong on this river in this season.   Pro tip from the water: Swing streamers through the deeper runs below Missoula in October. Clark Fork brown trout grow large and get aggressive in the fall.   Whether you're making your first trip to the Clark Fork or you fish it every season, this box gives you a proven starting lineup so you can spend more time fishing and less time digging through bins at the fly shop.   Includes a quality waterproof fly box. All flies are hand-tied to Bozeman FlyWorks standards — the same quality we'd put on our own lines.
