Clara EL-Khwand

Hello BrightBuddies Community. I’m thrilled to have joined the resources circle here. I’m Clara El-Khawand, Pediatric Physical Therapist. I obtained my graduate degree in Physical Therapy in 2019 at USJ, Lebanon and pursued my specialization in Pediatric Rehabilitation in Paris Descartes University, France. I’m currently enrolled in my third year of Doctorate degree. I’ve been working for almost a year and a half at Sesobel in Lebanon, an NGO dedicated to provide therapeutic services to all children with disabilities and accompany their families. I also provide in-home and virtual physical therapy evaluations and treatment. I have worked with kids with neuro-developmental disorders, orthopedic cases, scoliosis and respiratory rehabilitation. As a pediatric physical therapist, our role goes beyond the diagnosis and just the treatment. We walk this journey hand in hand with the families, we work through every struggle and every tear. Every child is unique and the “Star” of the show. The therapy program should be tailored to the child’s & the family’s individual needs and goals. We have a big responsibility to properly educate and raise awareness amongst families and the community. Working with children has always been a passion of mine and has always come naturally to me. I look forward to connecting and building a relationship of trust with the kids and families of this community. You can book your online consultation with me through BrightBuddies, through the onine app : Drapp or reach me on my Instagram Page : YourKidsPT. Let me know if you have any questions. I’m here to help in any way I can. Clara
