Citrine and Golden Pyrite Pendant for Core Chakra

Our pendants differ from necklaces in that they do not have a chain.  For those who wish to expand their ChakraJewel collection or already have a chain, this is the perfect solution.  All our necklaces are available as pendants.   The third or core chakra is located in the solar plexis.  It is surrounded by the color yellow. Stone: Citrine and golden pyrite Size: approximately 7/8" tall x 3/4" wide  -or- 22mm x 18mm  (size varies) Citrine and Golden Pyrite Pendant Description: Citrine is part of the quartz family.  It grows in large crystals that naturally form a six sided point.  This hand cut citrine is full of life and sparkle.  The inclusions only make the stone more interesting to look at, capturing little flashes of rainbow light from within.  It is unusual to find stones of this size and color.  We have added a faceted golden pyrite to accent this powerful core chakra jewel. Core Chakra Information for Citrine and Golden Pyrite Pendant The third chakra is also called the core chakra. It is located in the center of the body known as the solar plexis.  Within this chakra, we hold feelings of confidence, determination, discipline and prana, a term meaning “breath of life”.  The core chakra is the emotional center of power.  People who are comfortable in their third chakra can be tremendously successful, simply because self confidence is a magnet for others.  (Think of the uber self confident character Arthur Fonzerelli, aka The Fonz).    Imbalances in this area can range from lack of confidence to powerless victim.  Common terms for this imbalance might be: Flip flops in your stomach, a stomach that is all tied up in knots or having butterflies in your stomach.  An imbalance at the other end of the core chakra spectrum would be someone who abuses their power in which case we might say they were power hungry or full of themselves.  Taking a deep breath that fills not just your lungs, but the entire area of the solar plexis will change your posture, and is often helpful to calm yourself down and feel empowered.  Surrounding yourself in the color yellow is a great way to recharge your inner sun.
