Citrine Rough Stones (Medium-Large)

Citrine is a golden-yellow variety of quartz traditionally associated with abundance and prosperity. These citrine rough stones come in medium-to-large sizes, left in their natural, unpolished form so the raw texture and warm golden color stay intact. Quick facts Stone Citrine (rough, medium-large) Composition Silicon dioxide (SiO₂) Hardness (Mohs) 7 Color Golden yellow, natural variation Origin Natural citrine, source varies by batch Chakra Solar Plexus Traditionally used for Abundance, prosperity, confidence, creativity Care / Water-safe Yes, brief rinse only — avoid prolonged soaking or harsh chemicals Meaning & historyKnown in tradition as the Merchant's Stone, citrine is associated with abundance, prosperity, and success — many keep a piece nearby as a manifestation stone, meant to turn intention into action. Its bright energy is linked to optimism, creativity, and confidence, a staple of manifestation and abundance work and a pick for overall balance and wellness. Much of the citrine on the market, including a good share sold commercially, is heat-treated amethyst or smoky quartz enhanced for that golden hue — genuine quartz, just color-treated. These rough stones work well anywhere you want raw crystal character: a windowsill, a meditation altar, or a crystal grid. See the full citrine collection or browse more crystals. For a single, larger showpiece, the Citrine Specimen from Brazil is a dramatic option, and for a wearable version there's the Citrine Rough Pendant. Each rough stone is unique — natural pieces vary in size, shape, and color. How to use itSet a stone where you'll actually see it — a desk, a bookshelf, a bedside table — since many people find that visual reminder is the point. Others use rough citrine in meditation, holding a piece or setting it nearby, or place several stones together in a simple crystal grid. There's no single correct way to use it; treat it as a tactile, decorative object that carries meaning for you. Care & cleansingCitrine is quartz (Mohs 7), so it's a hard, low-maintenance stone. A quick rinse under lukewarm water and a gentle wipe with a soft cloth is all it needs; avoid long soaks and harsh cleaning chemicals. Because these are rough, unpolished specimens, edges may be sharp in places — handle with a little care, and keep pieces out of prolonged direct sunlight to preserve their color. Frequently asked questionsIs this natural citrine? Yes, these are natural citrine rough stones. Most citrine sold commercially today is heat-treated amethyst or smoky quartz enhanced for color; it remains genuine quartz. What size are these stones? This listing is for the medium-to-large size range. Natural stones vary, so exact dimensions differ piece to piece. Will I receive the exact stone pictured? Not necessarily — these are natural specimens, so size, shape, and color vary from the photo, which shows representative pieces. Can I put citrine in water for cleansing? A brief rinse is fine, but avoid long soaks. Citrine is durable quartz, so it tolerates short water contact better than many softer crystals. What does citrine mean in crystal tradition?
