Citrine Dragon Pendant

Throughout myth and mysticism, dragons have long been powerful symbols woven into the tapestry of the divine feminine. In many ancient traditions, dragons were not seen as the fire-breathing villains of modern fantasy, but as guardians of sacred knowledge, gateways to other realms, and embodiments of primordial feminine power. They represented the mysteries of the Earth, the depths of the oceans, and the untamed forces of creation and transformation—echoing the qualities of the feminine: intuitive, fertile, wild, and wise. In Eastern traditions, dragons are deeply revered and are often associated with the balance of yin and yang, with yin being the receptive, feminine principle. They are seen as protectors of spiritual treasures and as carriers of divine wisdom. In some interpretations, feminine dragons guard ancient temples or sacred lakes, symbolizing the womb of the Earth and the potent, creative void from which all life emerges. The dragon’s serpentine body is reminiscent of the kundalini energy that rests at the base of the spine, often awakened through spiritual practice and intimately connected to the divine feminine rising. The divine feminine and dragons intersect in the lore of powerful goddesses such as Tiamat, the Babylonian dragon goddess of the ocean and chaos, and the Celtic goddess Cerridwen, whose cauldron symbolizes the transformative magic of the womb. In these stories, dragons are not to be conquered, but honored—mirroring the ancient reverence for the feminine not as something passive, but as a force of immense power, destruction, and rebirth. To awaken the dragon within is to reclaim one’s inner fire, intuitive knowing, and sacred sovereignty—the very essence of the divine feminine in her fullest form. The piece features 1 gemstone.
