Cistus Essential Oil

Rediscover the power of a deep breath with Edens Garden's Cistus essential oil. With its unique peppery and earthy aroma, Cistus has been a go-to for aiding in respiratory clarity for years. Imagine taking a breath of fresh air in an aromatic Mediterranean garden—that's what Cistus brings to your wellness routine. Hailing from the Greek word 'kistos,' Cistus is a flowering plant that thrives in the rocky soils of the Mediterranean region. From Morocco and Portugal to the Middle East and even the Canary Islands, this resilient plant adds a touch of nature's beauty wherever it grows. And while its paper-thin flowers may not be fragrant, the essential oil derived from its sticky, resinous leaves and stalks sure is! So, how can you incorporate Cistus essential oil into your daily life? It's simple! Diffuse a few drops when you need a clear breath or mix it with a carrier oil for a soothing chest rub. Remember to do a patch test before topical use. You could also add it to DIY skincare formulations for a natural touch. Now, isn't it time you experienced the earthy goodness of Cistus essential oil? Your body and mind will thank you!
