Build private communication devices Assemble a pair of DIY wireless communicators that let you send text messages without Wi-Fi or cellular networks. Build them yourself and discover the power of LoRa technology.   Secure line, no network needed Chatter uses LoRa, a long-range, low-power radio technology, to communicate directly between devices. Your messages will be encrypted, even off-grid. Chatter lets you send texts to another Chatter device – even if there's no Wi-Fi or cell signal around. It uses LoRa to do this so you can stay in touch when you're off-grid. If you wish, you can even program it with CircuitBlocks. Chatter devices have a range of 2km.   Program beyond basic texting Dive deeper into coding!
