Limonta, Isolina, (Dreaming Of The Light)

"Dreaming" by Isolina Limonta 21 x 35 inches image size, collograph on paper -- (34 x 49 inch framed)   Born in Guantanamo in 1955, now residing in Havana, printmaker Isolina Limonta has been applauded for her stunningly rich colors and textures, in addition to the underlying deeper social observations within her collograph. Limonta is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts San Alejandro, Havana, Cuba. She also conducted post graduate studies at the Institute of Superior Art, Havana. She is a master printmaker specializing in collograph and a member of Cuban Union of Writers and Artists (UNEAC) and The Experimental Printmaking Workshop, Havana.
