CID Multi-Purpose Power Rake for Mini Skid Steers

CID Multi-Purpose Power Rake for Mini Skid Steers The CID Multi-Purpose Power Rake for Mini Skid Steers is a heavy-duty landscaping and site-preparation attachment built to grade, level, condition, and prepare soil with a compact loader. Designed specifically for mini skid steers, the CID MPPR44 combines a 44-inch working width, bi-directional carbide-tipped drum, inset direct-drive hydraulic motor, and dual hydraulic cylinders into one highly versatile attachment. Whether you're preparing a new lawn, renovating an existing landscape, grading a jobsite, conditioning hard soil, or preparing a seedbed, the CID Mini Skid Steer Multi-Purpose Power Rake gives contractors and property professionals the ability to complete demanding ground-preparation work without moving up to a full-size skid steer. The MPPR44 operates on 15–25 GPM auxiliary hydraulic flow and is available with Dingo and Bobcat MT mounting systems, with alternate mounts available for additional mini skid steer applications. Why Choose the CID Mini Skid Steer Multi-Purpose Power Rake? The CID Multi-Purpose Power Rake is designed for operators who need more versatility from their mini skid steer. Instead of limiting the machine to basic grading or raking, the MPPR44 is engineered for a wide range of soil conditioning, landscaping, site preparation, leveling, and material-management applications. Its combination of a hydraulic opening system and powered bi-directional drum makes it particularly useful for contractors who regularly move between different phases of landscape and site-preparation work. 44-Inch Working Width for Compact Equipment The CID MPPR44 features a 44-inch working width, making it well suited for mini skid steers working in areas where a full-size power rake may be too large. Its compact size makes the attachment useful for: Residential landscaping projects New lawn installation Seedbed preparation Property renovation Jobsite preparation Grading around buildings Driveway and pathway preparation Working between structures Confined-access construction sites Landscape cleanup and soil conditioning 7-1/2-Inch Bi-Directional Power Rake Drum At the center of the CID Multi-Purpose Power Rake is a 7-1/2-inch drum equipped with carbide roller tips. CID specifies an overall measurement of approximately 10-1/4 inches from tip to tip. The drum is bi-directional, allowing it to rotate in either direction depending on the application. This gives the operator greater flexibility when conditioning soil, loosening compacted material, preparing seedbeds, grading, and cleaning up a jobsite. Carbide Roller Tips for Aggressive Soil Conditioning The MPPR44 uses carbide roller tips on the power rake drum. These aggressive contact points help break apart compacted material, work the soil surface, and prepare the ground for landscaping and finishing applications. For contractors preparing lawns, building sites, or other finished surfaces, the carbide-tipped drum can help create a more workable surface before final grading, seeding, or other finishing work. Inset Direct-Drive Hydraulic Motor CID powers the MPPR44 with an inset direct-drive hydraulic motor. The direct-drive design transfers hydraulic power directly to the rake system without relying on a more complicated external drive arrangement. The inset motor location also helps keep the power system integrated into the attachment's compact design. 15–25 GPM Hydraulic Flow Requirement The CID Mini Skid Steer Multi-Purpose Power Rake is designed for machines providing 15–25 gallons per minute of auxiliary hydraulic flow. Before ordering, check the rated auxiliary hydraulic output of your mini skid steer and verify that it falls within the required 15–25 GPM operating range. Hydraulic Flow Requirement: 15–25 GPM Dual 2-Inch x 6-Inch Hydraulic Cylinders The MPPR44 uses dual 2-inch x 6-inch hydraulic cylinders to operate the attachment's multi-purpose functions. The dual-cylinder configuration provides controlled movement while allowing the attachment to perform more than a traditional fixed-frame power rake. Multiple Electrical Wiring Harness Options CID offers multiple wiring harness configurations for the Mini Skid Steer Multi-Purpose Power Rake, allowing the attachment to be paired with different machine control systems. Available wiring harness options include: Universal wiring harness 7-pin wiring harness 8-pin wiring harness 14-pin wiring harness The proper wiring harness should be selected based on the electrical controls and connection system used by your mini skid steer. The CID MPPR44 is designed to handle multiple phases of ground preparation and landscaping work with a single mini skid steer attachment. Grade and Level Soil Use the power rake to work uneven ground, break down rough surfaces, and prepare an area for final grading. Its compact 44-inch width makes it particularly useful around homes, buildings, sidewalks, landscape features, and other areas where larger equipment may be difficult to operate. Prepare Seedbeds and New Lawns The carbide-tipped drum helps work the upper soil layer and prepare the surface before seed, sod, or other landscape materials are installed. This makes the CID Mini Multi-Purpose Power Rake especially useful for landscapers performing new lawn installations, lawn renovations, and final site preparation. Condition Hard and Compacted Ground The powered drum helps loosen and condition hard ground before subsequent grading or landscaping operations. Instead of relying only on a bucket edge to scrape the surface, the rotating carbide-tipped drum actively works the material. Jobsite and Landscape Preparation The MPPR44 is designed for demanding landscaping, site preparation, and seedbed work. Its combination of hydraulic rake operation and multi-purpose attachment functionality can help reduce the number of attachment changes required during a ground-preparation project. Built for Mini Skid Steers Unlike full-size skid steer power rakes, the CID MPPR44 Multi-Purpose Power Rake is specifically designed for compact mini skid steer loaders. The 44-inch width allows operators to bring powered soil-conditioning capability into areas where a larger skid steer may be impractical. Dingo Mount CID offers the MPPR44 with a Dingo-style mount for compatible mini skid steer loaders. Bobcat MT Mount A Bobcat MT mounting configuration is also available for compatible Bobcat mini track loaders. Alternate Mini Skid Steer Mounts CID also lists alternate mounting configurations as available. If your machine does not use a Dingo or Bobcat MT mounting system, verify mount availability before ordering. Is the CID MPPR44 Compatible With My Mini Skid Steer? Mini skid steer attachment compatibility depends on more than the mounting plate. Before ordering the CID Multi-Purpose Power Rake, verify your machine's hydraulic and physical specifications. We recommend confirming: Mini skid steer make and model Auxiliary hydraulic flow in GPM Mounting system Electrical connector or wiring harness requirement Machine operating and attachment capacity The MPPR44 weighs approximately 1,413 lbs., so machine capacity should be carefully verified before purchase. Who Should Buy the CID Mini Multi-Purpose Power Rake? Professional Landscapers The MPPR44 is well suited for contractors preparing new lawns, renovating landscapes, leveling soil, conditioning ground, and completing final grading work. Excavation and Site-Preparation Contractors Compact equipment contractors can use the attachment for grading and soil preparation in areas where larger skid steers may have limited access. Hardscape Contractors Use the power rake to help prepare and level areas before hardscape, walkway, landscape, and related site-improvement projects. Property Maintenance Contractors The compact size and powered drum make the attachment useful for reclaiming rough areas, smoothing disturbed ground, and completing property-improvement projects.
