Cicada Wing Jewelry

Want to go into the woods and scream? We can get coffee after... We all know that cicadas have a pretty good track record for screams. So, when the chaos is dark - but you need to thrive out of spite, let these ornaments show your sparkle and represent your guttural, instinctual, eternal scream. High fashion for the internally screaming. Dani, you draw flowers, why the bugs? I actually have youth Summer times nostalgia for the cicadas hum and scream. I spent my young years in Iowa and Kansas where June bugs(no thanks), lightning bugs(in the backyard!), and cicadas(love from afar) roam. So last summer I dreamt up the idea, starting talking with the production team in the fall, and now they are here! Earrings are 3D printed resin and are a collaborative Studio Dodge product. Dani(owner) conceptualizes the designs, Aundrea(sis) creates the 3-D rendering, David(dad) produces each print, then its back to Dani for paint and assembly.
