CI Upright - 5 Fin

Channel Island CI Upright - 5 Fin Designed in conjunction with the Better Everyday the CI Upright five fin set is designed for surfers who want speed, control, and maneuverability.  Upright side fins and raked trailers combine for the perfect amount of drive and release. The upright nature of the thruster template promotes tighter turns and therefore comes to life in punchy, hollow waves and when performing vertical turns, but it will also suit conditions where you need immediate start-up speed from the take off. The full, robust profile of this fin from base-to-tip allows surfers to push hard while still getting that freedom to turn easily. The CI Upright Tri-Quad Fin Set is designed for surfers who want speed, control, and quick direction changes. Its upright template allows for snappier turns and faster transitions, making it ideal for tight pocket surfing. As a Tri-Quad (5 fin) setup, it offers versatility. Use the thruster for precision and the quad for added speed and hold. "We designed the CI Upright because our surfboard range extended well into the hybrid and step-down categories and we needed a fin to maintain response and turning performance on our boards where the rocker was a little more relaxed and flatter". "This fin allows you to gain start-up drive and acceleration really quickly, yet still feel loose and free off the top. Many of our team riders have also gravitated to this fin on their high-performance shortboards and step-ups where they wanted less resistance and the ability to stay right in the pocket". - Britt Merrick  Fin Base Depth Area Sweep Deg° Foil Medium Side 4.39" 4.59" 15.04" 30.3° Flat Medium Ctr 4.39" 4.59" 15.04" 30.3° Medium Q-Rear 4.04" 4.17" 11.70" 33.3° Flat Large Side 4.50" 4.70" 15.79" 30.3° Flat Large Ctr 4.50" 4.70" 15.79" 30.3° Large Q-Rear 4.14" 4.27" 12.29" 33.3° Flat Extra Large Side 4.61" 4.82" 16.39" 30.3° Flat Extra Large Ctr 4.61" 4.82" 16.39" 30.3° Extra Large Q-Rear 4.12" 4.37" 12.88" 33.3° Flat MEDIUM (65Kg - 80Kg / 145 - 175 Lbs) LARGE (75Kg - 90Kg / 165 - 200 Lbs) X LARGE (90kg / 200 Lbs +)
