Church Rock

The rock formations of Northern Arizona can be some of the most dramatic ever seen anywhere. This was the main area for Hollywood Westerns that dominated the movie scene for decades. Located near Monument Valley, this awesome formation, along the side of the road, caught Lou DeSerio’s attention. The vastness of the landscape, the peace and the quiet combined in such a way that he wanted to share a moment of silence and provide a break for our busy lives that too often seemed too rushed.
