Chunk™ Release Base – Modular Quick‑Release Mount USA

The Chunk™ Release Base is the ultimate quick‑release solution for Dirtbox Overland owners. Engineered and manufactured in the USA, this rugged, CNC-machined mount integrates with our Chunk™ Quick‑Release Bracket to let you instantly attach or detach your gear—like 270° awnings and side-hanging water tanks—without tools or hassle. Whether you're swapping sides to chase the sun, winterizing your setup, or streamlining your garage storage, this modular system gives you total control and flexibility for your canopy camper or truck topper. 🔑 Key Features ✅ Quick‑Release Compatible Pairs with the Chunk™ Quick‑Release Bracket for fast, secure mounting of awnings, water tanks, and other accessories—no tools needed. 🔄 Modular Mounting System Install multiple bases on either side of your Dirtbox canopy camper or topper. Move gear to match terrain, season, or your current layout. ❄️☀️ Seasonal Flexibility – With Full T-Track Utility During winter, relocate your side-hanging water tank inside of your canopy camper or topper using the internal T-track system to protect it from freezing. All Dirtbox Overland canopy campers feature full-length T-tracks inside and out, so your tank remains fully usable—ideal for cooking, washing, or cleaning during winter conditions. ↔️ Sun Angle Optimization Sun and shade constantly shift—your setup should too. With Chunk™ bases mounted on both sides, you can move your 270° awning in under 30 seconds for warmth, glare protection, or wind coverage. The same goes for your side-hanging water tank—reposition it where it gets direct sunlight to naturally heat the water for use at camp. 🧰 Smart Multi-Accessory Setup Mount more with less. With just three Chunk™ Release Bases on one side, you can support both a 270° awning and a side-hanging water tank. Use two bases to run the awning, then simply detach and clip in the tank using those same base locations—no redundant mounting, no clutter. 👤 Real-World Use Cases (ASE Style) 🧊 Winter Tank Protection (and Use!) Attention: Cold temps put your gear at risk. Situation: You're camping in freezing conditions. Effect: Move your water tank inside using the camper’s interior T-tracks. It stays protected and usable for cooking and cleanup—even in winter. ☀️ Track the Sun Attention: Sun position changes by the hour. Situation: You’ve installed Chunk™ bases on both sides of your rig. Effect: Move your 270° awning to the sunny or shaded side depending on the time of day. For your side-hanging water tank, reposition it to a sun-facing side so the water naturally heats up—perfect for washing dishes or rinsing off. 🔁 Run Both Awning & Tank from One System Attention: You want a clean setup without excess mounts. Situation: You’ve installed three bases on one side of your canopy camper. Effect: Use two for your awning, then swap to the water tank using the same base points. Simple. Modular. Efficient.   ⚠️ Compatibility Note The Chunk™ Release Base is designed to mount using standard T-tracks with a center-to-center spacing of 1.575 inches between track slots. ✅ If your canopy camper or truck topper—Dirtbox or non-Dirtbox brand—has track spacing that matches this measurement, the base will be compatible. 📏 Track spacing required: 1.575 inches (40mm) center-to-center between parallel mounting tracks Fits most aluminum extrusion-based T-track systems
