Chrysalis Star in Blue & Taupe

This Chrysalis Star in blue and taupe features a multi layered 6-pointed star medallion that radiates outward. The colors are both soothing and eye catching. It was made by one of our Amish Quilters. The border of this queen-sized quilt is done in a blue mini print pattern. The binding is done in a gray tone on tone.  The back is done in a gray floral swirl. ABOUT THIS PATTERN The Chrysalis Star is a dramatic structure created using precise strip-piecing to create the diamond points giving it the geometric appearance. The original pattern utilizes applique elements around the perimeter, but this one focuses purely on the clean and bold patchwork of the star. SIZE Queen size – 102 inches wide x 114 inches long. Sized at 102″ x 114″, this quilt provides approximately 22 inches of drop on each side of a standard twin mattress, generous coverage at the foot of the bed, and ample room for a comfortable pillow tuck—eliminating the need for coordinating shams.
