Chrome Lug Nut Indicators with Dust Cap | 33mm | 10-Pack

Chrome Lug Nut Indicators with Dust Cap | Torque-Tight Chrome Protect Keep your chrome wheels safe and looking sharp. The Torque-Tight Chrome Protect is a chrome-plated loose wheel nut indicator and dust cap in one -- designed for heavy trucks, fleet vehicles, and any rig running chrome wheels. One glance during your walk-around tells you if every nut is tight and your wheels are road-ready. How It Works Install one Chrome Protect cap on each lug nut. When all caps are properly torqued, their arrows point toward each other in a consistent pattern -- safe to roll. If a nut begins to back off, its arrow breaks from the pattern -- loose nut identified, no tools required. Catch the problem in the lot, not on the highway. Why Chrome Protect? Chrome finish that lasts -- Won't rust or corrode. Easy to wipe clean. Complements chrome and polished aluminum wheels. Dual function -- Loose nut indicator and dust cap in one. Protects studs and nuts from corrosion, weathering, and road debris. Soft inner grip insert -- The soft plastic liner grips the lug nut for a secure fit while still allowing fast, tool-free installation and removal. Walk-around ready -- Arrow pattern gives drivers and inspectors an instant visual confirm at every pre-trip and post-trip check. Made from heavy-duty durable plastic -- Chrome plated over a robust polymer core engineered for commercial vehicle conditions. Fits These Applications Chrome Protect is available in 33mm to fit the most common Class 6, 7, and 8 truck lug nut sizes. Sold in a 10-pack to cover a standard 10-lug drive or steer axle. Installation Torque all lug nuts to manufacturer specification. Press each Chrome Protect cap firmly onto the lug nut until seated. Align all arrows to point toward the wheel center (or adjacent caps) in a uniform pattern. Inspect the pattern at every walk-around. Any cap pointing out of alignment signals a nut to check immediately. Frequently Asked Questions Will these fit over standard lug nut covers or hub caps? Chrome Protect caps fit directly onto bare lug nuts and are not designed to go over existing covers. Remove any existing caps before installation. Do I need a special tool to install or remove them? No. The soft inner insert provides grip for hand installation and removal. Are these the same as standard plastic indicators? No. Chrome Protect combines a chrome-plated exterior with the same proven arrow indicator design as our standard indicators -- adding corrosion protection and a premium appearance suited for chrome and polished wheel applications.
