Chroma Ironforge Mini

Chroma Ironforge Mini Red Light System The Compact Deep Red & NIR Powerhouse High intensity red and near infrared light in a smaller, travel ready form. Designed for fast, targeted sessions anywhere life takes you. (¼ the power of the Ironforge). Average Irradiance: 750+ mW/cm² at the faceplate. The Ironforge Mini can be used with the faceplate directly against your skin, or up to 6" for targeted use. Keep the device in constant motion over your body to avoid excessive heat buildup. As with any new stimuli, start small and work up to a dose that works well for your body. Many people find their ideal dose between 5-10 minutes a day, spread over the whole body and focusing more on their problem areas. How does it work? Red and near infrared (NIR) wavelengths have been extensively studied and are associated with mitochondria stimulation, the energy factories (and so much more) within your cells, helping them produce ATP (adenosine triphosphate) more efficiently. More ATP means better healing, recovery, and performance. This is not about forcing your body to do something unnatural. It’s about restoring a biological process that modern life has suppressed. How soon will I notice a difference? Some people feel a shift almost immediately, especially when it comes to things that are acute, while others see changes after a few sessions. For skin related improvements or deeper recovery like joints and muscles, it usually takes a little longer. Many users notice changes unfolding over several weeks of regular use. While the wide ranging effects of red light therapy can feel like magic, in many cases, the modality works best when combined with other natural solutions including stretching, physical therapy, and massage. The Ironforge Mini is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Individual experiences may vary. Always follow provided usage guidelines and consult a qualified professional with questions about light exposure. Outshining the Competition We took the power of an entire full body panel and compressed it into the world’s most power dense hand-held light therapy device. How long will it take to see results? The timeline for seeing results from red light therapy (RLT) can vary depending on the individual's condition and the specific treatment goals. Some of our users report feeling near-immediate relief, specially in terms of reduced inflammation and pain, while others see relief after a few sessions. Generally, for skin-related outcomes such as improved texture and healing, or for deeper tissue effects like muscle recovery and joint health, noticeable results may emerge after consistent use over a period of two to six weeks. Is red light therapy proven to work? Thousands of peer-reviewed studies support the use of red and near-infrared light for promoting recovery, reducing discomfort, and supporting tissue repair. Studied dose ranges from the equivalent of just seconds with the Ironforge, to multiple minutes. This tool is designed to deliver a lot of light to your target area quickly. Can I use it on my face, joints, or sensitive areas? Absolutely. The Ironforge Mini was designed for targeted relief and recovery. You can use it on your knees, back, neck, shoulders, or face. Just be mindful of distance and duration. Increase use distance over the face and other sensitive areas, being aware of heat buildup in the skin. Will this replace my physical therapy, massage, or clinic visits? The Ironforge Mini is not a medical device and shouldn’t replace professional care when needed. However, many users find they can reduce their reliance on recurring appointments or intense "healing" modalities. Using the Ironforge Mini alongside tools such as ice baths, massage, and physical therapy can increase total effectiveness. Is Ironforge Mini safe for daily use? Yes. The Ironforge Mini uses wavelengths that have been widely studied and shown to be safe when used properly. There is no UV output, and the device is engineered to meet strict safety standards. Just follow the usage guidelines and allow your body to adapt gradually if you're new to red light therapy. Is Ironforge Mini portable? Can I travel with it? Yes. Every Ironforge Mini come with a travel case roughly the size of a small briefcase. Simply throw it your car and enjoy powerful red light therapy where ever life takes you. Whether you’re on the road for competition or working remotely, your recovery routine doesn’t need to pause. Do I need to use it on bare skin? Yes. For optimal results, red and near-infrared light should reach the skin without interference. Using the Ironforge Mini directly on clean, bare skin maximizes absorption and effectiveness. For those more private areas of the body, increase your use distance to reduce intensity of the exposure. How long will it take to get my order? It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 3-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email. Isn't more than a few J/cm^2 too much power? No! Let's estimate the fluence (total dose) of red and NIR light one might get from the sun on an average summer day under the shade of a tree... 1. Sunlight Spectrum Intensity: Sunlight is approximately 1000 W/m^2 in direct sunlight. When considering the red to NIR range (600-900nm), about 43% of the solar spectrum falls into this range. So, the intensity in this range is approximately: 0.43 x 1000 W/m^2 = 430 W/m^2. 2. Shade Reduction: Being in the shade can reduce sunlight intensity by around 50-90%, depending on the shade's type and density. Let's take an average value of 70% reduction. Intensity in the shade = 0.3 x 430 W/m^2 = 129 W/m^2. 3. Conversion to Fluence (Total Dose): Fluence (J/cm^2) is power (W/cm^2) multiplied by time (seconds). Let's consider exposure over a day (let's say 6 hours of variable sunlight in shade). This would be 6 x 60 x 60 seconds = 21,600 seconds. First, convert the intensity from W/m^2 to W/cm^2: 129 W/m^2 = 0.0129 W/cm^2. Then, compute the fluence: Fluence = 0.0129 W/cm^2 x 21,600 s = 278.88 J/cm^2. So, in the shade on an average summer day, one could be exposed to a total fluence of near 300 J/cm^2 in the red & near infrared range from the sun. We find the total exposure seems to be more important in many processes, so we us multi-watt red/nir light in our device to offer quick effective treatments. Yes! Your Ironforge Mini is compatible with both 110/120 and 220/240 V (adapter not included). Some LEDs are not lit up, is my device broken? Rest assured the device is working properly. Wavelengths beyond about 700 nanometers are invisible to the human eye, it's normal to not see any light from the LEDs labeled in this range. This is by design as near infrared (NIR) light is the frequency range that penetrates deepest into the tissue to do their job. One way to verify complete function is using an inexpensive wall power meter like the "kill-a-watt" device, you should see around 200W +-10W of power draw. Will this help raise my Vitamin D levels? No, but you'll be interested in our D-Light device, the first ever consumer UVB LED device for Vitamin D production.
