Arrow Sewing collaborated with award-winning quilter, Christa Watson, to design a sewing cabinet that enhances your sewing experience with comfort, convenience, and a massive work surface! Christa Sewing Cabinet is a full-size workstation featuring a 2-position manual sewing lift, a sprawling work surface for large quilting projects, and a home-friendly footprint for easy integration into your growing sewing room! Descripton The Christa has an adjustable 2-position lift that allows you to go between free arm and flat bed positions.  The rear quilt leaf and right side leaf expand to keep large projects from pulling or laying on the floor.  Pair the Christa Sewing Cabinet with the optional Christa’s Quilt Blocks to provide a guard rail to keep your project from sliding off the back/side of your cabinet.  The large drawer includes a removable cover to create even more workspace.   You are Responsible to check the Sewing Machine Hole Size Be sure to measure your sewing machine with all attachments removed. For the best fit, allow 2 extra inches around your machine for the insert to fit well. The extra 2" also allows room for your machine to raise and lower freely with the lift and the sewing machine cords. The standard sewing machine opening size can be found in the specifications. Acrylic Insert Sew Steady Cabinet Insets & Inserts are designed to fit your specific make and model of sewing machine and cabinet and fill gaps around your sewing area*, allowing you to work more efficiently and comfortably. They are made with one of the highest grades of acrylic. All the inserts are designed based on having the accessory tray removed from the machine.  The insert is designed to be perfectly level with the free arm of the machine.  If you have a top-loading bobbin this may affect your use.  Occasionally those that are custom cutting the insert will have additional questions about your sewing machine, or the hole that they are fitting, and you will be asked more questions. Assembly required.  Usually, The Laverne with Shirley Cabinet leaves the warehouse in 3 business days and comes in 5 boxes.  CABINET CARE Your Arrow Sewing Furniture normally requires a minimum amount of maintenance, however, the following points are worth noting: Cleaning: To remove marks and enhance the surface, wipe over with a general-purpose cleaner. Caution:   Do not use ammonia-based cleaning agents. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. The surface can be wiped with a damp cloth but should be dried quickly.
