Crucially, when using 2go with Hugo 2, (once charged) all forms of digital playback can benefit from battery power alone, negating the need for external power supplies for the ultimate in purist audio. 2go contains highly advanced miniaturised electronic engineering that, in keeping with all our amplifiers and DACs, uses proprietary British technology. Adding 2go to Hugo 2, creates the most sonically advanced compact music streamer available today. Wireless convenience (2.4GHz Wi-Fi and A2DP Bluetooth® wireless technology) combine with the stability and performance of wired (Gigabit) Ethernet connectivity, the latter offering set-up-free plug-and-play operation. 2go also benefits from comprehensive audio interfacing and offers Tidal, Qobuz and Internet radio playback with Spotify (and others) earmarked for the future. 2go is also Roon Ready, offers gapless audio and DoP/Bit Perfect support, as well as being fully DLNA-compliant (server/renderer) and AirPlay-ready. A key feature of 2go is its auto-switching input function: every audio interface is always on, therefore switching between inputs is as easy as hitting ‘play’ on the chosen control point app; 2go convenience switches between all its inputs automatically, giving a seamless user experience when playing music from different sources or even streaming services.   FEATURES Setup and configuration via Gofigure iOS/Android app Battery or desktop mode operation 10 hrs (approx) playback via internal battery Super fast triple-core audio processor Long range WiFi (2.4GHz) streaming Gigabit ethernet connectivity Bluetooth® wireless technology Airplay playback 2x Micro SD storage (up-to 4TB) Roon ready DLNA streamer/server Stream internet radio Up-to 768kHz playback Up-to DSD 256 playback DSD via DoP Automatic playback mode switching Secure docking and locking mechanism Gapless playback Solid CNC machined chassis   INCLUDED ACCESSORIES  Get started with 2go guide  Safety instructions  Drawstring bag  Micro USB to Type-A USB cable  Ethernet cable  2x locating screws  Allen key REVIEW & AWARDS Chord 2go review "Normally, we only give five stars to fully rounded products. It makes them safe recommendations. This case is a little different. The 2go/Hugo 2 pairing isn’t as slick as rivals to use or set-up, and needs a good amount of care in partnering. But, work around these things and you’ll have an astonishingly revealing and versatile music server/streamer that can deliver a level of clarity that it’s hard to match let alone better anywhere near this price. There’s no doubt that the 2go is a stunning achievement for such a small company." - What Hi-Fi?    Chord 2go + Hugo 2 video review "Can I get that 2 go? High-end portable audio that transcends Bluetooth headphones often comes undone when we look at what portable DAC/amplifier manufacturers ask us to put in our pockets. Chord Electronic’s first-generation Hugo – a battery-powered DAC the size of an iPhone 6S Plus – invited smartphone pairing via USB and dongle but glossed over its size and screen-obscuring rubber straps. Had it not been for sound quality that pushed much of the sub-US$3K DAC competition into Chord’s wing mirror, the Hugo might have plodded along as just another DAC." -  John   Chord Electronics 2go Review "The Chord Electronics 2go takes everything good about the previous Poly and upsizes it to work seamlessly with the Hugo 2." -  Marcus Chord Electronics 2go "This Hugo 2/2go combination is a really great bit of audio kit and if it was all you had you wouldn’t want for much more than a good pair of headphones. The micro-SD cards in the 2go offer a really attractive networked storage alternative. The accessibility, stability and clarity of the arrangement with the Hugo 2 have been a notable bonus for me. The 2go/2yu streaming transport combination offers the highest value streaming option to a standalone digital DAC. If the Hugo 2 was an Editor’s Pick, then the Chord Electronics 2go, which improves it, must be as well, surely." -  Simon Wilce   CHORD HUGO 2 & 2go "The addition of 2go has turned what was already arguably the best transportable DAC, into what must surely be the best transportable Streaming DAC! Awesome design and build quality. Insightful, detailed yet powerful sound with a big and accurate soundstage. I don’t want to give it back!" - Hi-Fi Pig Magazine   2go a go go "2go in itself was a complex user experience for me. I went down a couple of rabbit holes trying to sort out what was going on. But it worked easily enough in the end, using the Mconnect player. With Gofigure also needed to alter hardware setup, this is not an easy streamer / card player to understand and run. When working however what I heard from 2go and Hugo 2 was a great sound." - Hi-Fi World   Cat that got the stream "There’s no denying it, the 2go is fussy to setup and use – and also more fragile than I had hoped. Then there’s the price. At nearly £3,000 for the pair you’re getting into really serious sonic territory. But in terms of sound the 2go is really beyond reproach – it makes having a Hugo 2 an even more special thing than it already is. Overall then, an enthusiastic thumbs up – but with some reservations" - Hi-Fi Choice        TECHNICAL SPEC Compatibility: In order for 2go to perform as a fully functional streamer, a connection with Hugo 2 (DAC/Preamp/Headphone amp) or 2yu is required.
