Joy is an emotion that produces a positive vibration. Sadness is the opposite emotion that produces a negative vibration. We all have the ability to choose joy or not. Your power to navigate through this world’s ups and downs represents the roller-coasters of choices during your typical average day. Your emotional response becomes your primary steering wheel of life, which will guide you as you encounter people and problems along your way. To choose joy instead of sadness, is to take hold of the wheel of your thoughts and regain the grip on your emotions. We all make thousands of choices everyday, Coke or Pepsi? A piece of fruit or a bowl of ice cream? Should I or shouldn't I? So many choices… road rage or patience? Depression or endurance? When our mindset is disturbed, we make poor choices. When we make poor choices, we create poor circumstances. When we choose joy, we choose a positive state of mind, we choose to have control over our emotions… and in return we receive the power to focus and the ability to create positive circumstances. Choosing joy instead of fear, will restore peace and balance in your attitudes and your behaviors. Look around where you are right now, in this moment and in this space. Do you see the glass half full or half empty? Do you see the rose or do you see the thorns? Do you see the problem as a roadblock or as a challenge? Choose wisely. Choose to wear this bracelet. May it motivate you to choose joy over sadness… joy instead of anger… joy in the place or bitterness, no matter what… CHOOSE JOY.
