Chocolate Man Sample

The scent The artist This is a 2 ml spray sample. Find the full bottle here.  You know Jeffrey Dame can't pass up the chance to make a killer perfume out of a single addictive note (vanilla, anyone?), and here he tempts us with chocolate. Chocolate Man is chocolate. Straight up chocolate. He started out with a chocolate accord and began to add layers of complexity and interest, but his nose kept pulling him back to that original accord -- and that's what we have here. But not your sugar-ladened chocolate candy bar type of chocolate.   This chocolate is unadulterated. Raw, dark, dense and sexy. Sugar is replaced with bitter, reminiscent of pure dark cacao nibs, and you’ll find hints of malted chocolate, leather and slightly smoked wood chips in the distance. As it mellows, a soft cocoa butter note reveals itself melting into a fine Dutch cocoa powder finish.  (Oh, and one insider tip: It might have "man" in the name, but Chocolate Man Cologne is perfect for anyone and everyone. Just ask Dame's legion of female aficionados.)   Notes include chocolate. Just chocolate. Yum.  Dame Perfumery Scottsdale is the creation of Jeffrey Dame, a veteran of the fragrance industry.
