BioPure Chlorella Pyrenoidosa For more information, check out our blog post - Chlorella: All You Need to Know About the Mighty Algae Chlorella Pyrenoidosa is distinguished from Chlorella Vulgaris by its thicker cell wall. The components of this cell wall may facilitate a slightly more powerful detoxification effect, and promote slightly higher nutritional value than Chlorella Vulgaris. However, the thickness of this cell wall also makes Pyrenoidosa slightly more difficult to digest. High in vitamins, minerals, amino acids and protein. Natural detoxifier for immune support. Natural digestive enzymes aiding to neutralize bad breath and ease occasional constipation. Contains magnesium to support a healthy cardiovascular system. Chlorella is a tiny, single-celled blue-green freshwater algae that has survived on this planet, relatively unchanged, for over two billion years. Chlorella gets its name from chlorophyll, the green plant pigment responsible for photosynthesis. Alfalfa and Chlorella are both sources of chlorophyll, but Chlorella has 20-30 times the amount found in alfalfa. Chlorella’s chlorophyll content accounts for its super efficiency in utilizing the sun’s energy to grow, and also for many of its health benefits to humans. Chlorella is a complete food, rich in protein, vitamins and minerals. It has twice the protein found in an equivalent weight of beef and is considered a complete protein having all 8 essential amino acids. 100 grams of Chlorella contains over 51,000 IU of Vitamin A. It also has Vitamins B1, B6, B12, C, E, pantothenic acid, folic acid, biotin, niacin and riboflavin. Chlorella is also rich in minerals, especially iron and zinc. Chlorella is able to assist our immune system in a number of ways, many of which are still not completely understood. Chlorella encourages the growth of beneficial bacteria in the digestive system without attacking the useful ones and supports healthy function of the colon and bowel. Within the tiny single cell of Chlorella, numerous bioactive compounds can be found, such as omega-3 fatty acids, carotenoids, polysaccharides, and peptides, each capable of supporting our immune system in its own unique way. BioPure Healing Products is proud to offer Chlorella that is 100% Certified Organic. The algae are grown in man-made fresh water ponds, ensuring the Chlorella is pure and free of any contaminants or pollutants. The ponds are exposed to natural sunlight, which encourages the production of chlorophyll. The water the Chlorella is grown in is also super-oxygenated which allows the algae to pull in extra oxygen molecules. Because the purity and safety of our products are of the utmost importance to us, we changed our Chlorella source away from Japan subsequent to the March 2011 Tohoku earthquake, and still have each individual batch of our product routinely tested and certified free of radiation. In its natural form, Chlorella algae have a stiff outer cell wall. Before marketing our Chlorella supplements, a unique pressure system is used to gently crack open the hard outer cell walls, while keeping the inner contents and organelles relatively intact and undamaged. This delivers to you the maximum nutritional and health benefits possible. Chlorella is available in liquid, powder, or solid form, in capsules and tablets. Two different species, C. vulgaris and C. pyreneidosa are also available, each with unique properties.
