Umpqua Chironomid Bomber

Nicknamed the "Bomber" for its substantial size, the Umpqua Chironomid Bomber is a must-have pattern for stillwater anglers seeking to match the largest chironomid pupae. This fly's exaggerated size and prominent profile are incredibly effective during intense hatches when trout are looking for the biggest, easiest meals. Fished with a dead drift in rivers or on a slow retrieve under an indicator in lakes, its sturdy construction and bold coloring make it an undeniable offering that consistently triggers strong takes.
