Chirimen is a traditional Japanese textile that originated in Kyoto. Its distinctive textured surface, created through a special weaving and finishing process, gives it a soft feel and an elegant sheen. It has long been used for kimono and traditional accessories. This pack includes 7 pre-cut pieces, each measuring 8.6" x 6.5". It’s perfect for trying chirimen fabric and for small sewing projects such as pouches, tsumami-zaiku, and hair accessories.
