Chiri

Named for the Quechua word for “cold” or “frost,” Chiri is made for the season when warmth becomes a luxury all its own. This sumptuous super-bulky yarn blends 50% Merino wool, 30% baby alpaca, and 20% bamboo viscose, bringing together cozy warmth, exceptional softness, and a subtle, elegant sheen. Chiri has a plush, substantial hand that gives even simple stitches beautiful presence and definition. Merino provides warmth and resilience, baby alpaca adds an indulgent softness, while bamboo lends a smooth touch and gentle luminosity. With 66 yards in each generous 100-gram skein, it works up quickly into deeply cozy sweaters, oversized accessories, hats, cowls, scarves, and statement pieces made for the coldest days. Offered in a sophisticated palette of 12 winter-inspired shades, from Ivory and Snowy Moon to Violet Dusk, Crimson Frost, and Arctic Teal, Chiri captures the quiet beauty of the season in a yarn that feels every bit as luxurious as it looks. Warm, plush, and beautifully refined, Chiri turns winter knitting into something to look forward to. By shopping Mirasol, you can help a worthy cause.
