Always wipe with the grain using long, straight strokes to avoid swirl marks. Maintain stable temperature (50°F–80°F / 10°C–27°C) and humidity (25%–40%) to prevent wood movement or finish damage. Avoid direct sunlight, which can cause fading or discoloration. Keep furniture away from moisture — rattan and wood are sensitive to humidity and water exposure.
