World Spice Chipotle Chile Flake

World Spice Chipotle Chile Flake: Smoky Heat for Rubs, Soups & Stews World Spice Chipotle Chile Flake delivers a concentrated punch of roasted pepper smoke and steady heat, making it a practical staple for seasoning proteins, finishing dishes, or building flavorful broths. Unlike finely ground chili powders that turn gritty or clump in liquid, these whole flakes retain their natural oils and textured bite. They anchor themselves effectively in dry rubs where larger pieces grip meat, or break down gradually into simmering bases without turning muddy or losing their aromatic oils. The flakes deliver moderate to hot heat paired with a prominent smoke-forward flavor, reflecting the traditional jalapeño smoking process. Adjust intensity by measuring half-teaspoon increments until you reach your preferred burn. Can these flakes replace traditional Mexican adobo sauce? They provide similar smoky-piquant undertones but lack the vinegar, garlic, and citrus base found in canned adobo. Use the flakes alone for clean smoke, or mix them with fresh lime juice, minced garlic, and a touch of molasses to recreate a dry rub version. How do I store them after opening? Keep the container tightly sealed in a cool, dry cupboard. Properly protected from humidity and direct light, the flakes will maintain peak color and potency for twelve to eighteen months.
