Created as a field-expedient multi-shot grenade system, it gave operators the ability to fire multiple 40mm grenades in rapid succession — a major advantage over the single-shot M79. It saw extensive use by Navy SEALs and other special operations forces during the Vietnam War, prized for its firepower in ambushes and close jungle engagements. Though only produced in small numbers, the China Lake became legendary among special operations communities and remains one of the most recognized and sought-after Vietnam-era weapons in military history. 3D printed products may require minor post-processing. Support remnants, layer lines, or slight surface variations are normal and can be cleaned up with a hobby knife, needle files, or light sanding. Final appearance may vary slightly depending on printer settings and material used.
