Over time, these tiny, black carbon-based particles embed into the pores and surface of the masonry surrounding your fireplace. Because these stains happen gradually over time through a process known as "ghosting", you may not even realize how different your fireplace currently looks compared to when it was new. These stains are very difficult to remove and require the use of harsh chemicals that you don't want in your home, not to mention the time and mess involved. Even then, these unsightly stains are nearly impossible to remove from porous surfaces such as brick and stone, until now. When completely dry, it is easily peeled away from the surface and discarded. Paint "N" Peel Fireplace Cleaner saves you time and eliminates the hassle of cleaning your smoke/soot stained fireplace.
