The Chillout Systems Breakaway Hose Coupling is a passive safety upgrade for any driver cooling system, designed to release hands-free when 9 lbs of force is applied to the hose line. The dual-mechanism latch assembly connects securely under normal operating conditions but separates instantly in an emergency — without any action required from the driver or crew. Sold as a single coupling and compatible with existing shirt connectors, it can be installed at any point along the cooling hose where a breakaway separation point is needed.
