Chicken Tender

Yeah, the restaurant makes a decent one. Crispy, golden, little cup of honey mustard.  But that is not here. Here is a person who is out in the yard in the rain at dusk doing a headcount because Dolores didn't come in with the others and Dolores has a history of poor decision making. This is the person who knows who's molting, who's broody, who started the drama in the east nesting box this morning, and exactly which treat makes everybody temporarily forget their grievances. The flock doesn't just get fed around here. The flock gets tended — with patience, with attention, with the kind of quiet daily devotion that doesn't make headlines but absolutely makes a difference. Wear this one with quiet confidence. Different from the menu. Better than the menu. Dolores is fine, by the way.
