Cluckin’ Chick Playground Kit

Give your baby chicks more than a place to stand—give them a playground. The Cluckin’ Chick Playground Kit™ is a brooder-safe bundle of keeper-tested toys that build confidence, encourage natural behavior, and head off pecking problems before they start. Real gear for real brooders (dust, zoomies, opinions included). Who It’s For New chick keepers, families with spring hatches, educators, and anyone raising chicks, bantams, or mixed broods who want calmer, busier babies from day one. What’s Inside Ramp & Stand – Low, sturdy platform for safe climb–hop–perch practice and leg strength. Chick-Safe Orbital Disco Ball Toy – Light-catching motion to spark exploration without sharp edges. Chick Mirror – Social curiosity outlet that helps redirect boredom and reduce bullying. Cluckin’ Preener Feather Brush – Gentle grooming tool to soothe itch and support early feather care. Wooden Chick Swing – Tiny balance trainer for rhythm, confidence, and natural play. Note: Colors/styles may vary; function stays the same. How to Use (Keeper Playbook) Start simple (Days 3–5): Add the ramp & stand first once chicks are steady on their feet. Layer in curiosity: Introduce the mirror and orbital toy next; place away from heat to prevent crowding. Swing time: Hang the swing low (chest height) with a nearby perch/step for safe on/off. Preen practice: Offer short, supervised sessions with the preener brush; many chicks will lean in—end on a good note. Rotate often: Keep 1–2 items in the brooder; swap every couple of days to keep interest high and drama low. Keeper Notes & Safety Brooder basics first: Proper heat gradient, dry bedding, space, ventilation, clean water, and starter feed are non-negotiable; toys are a bonus, not a substitute. Supervise new items the first time; remove anything that causes piling, guarding, or toe/beak entrapment. Hangables = low & secure: Keep swing/toys below head height, clear of eye/comb paths; check hardware daily. Clean weekly: Warm soapy water, rinse, air dry. Wipe mirrors with a soft cloth to prevent scratches. No treats needed: Enrichment works without snacks; if you do offer tiny greens later, provide chick grit and keep treats minimal. Care Wipe plastics/metal; spot clean wood and sun-dry. Empty and sanitize anything that contacts moisture daily. Eco-Conscious Production Durable, reusable enrichment beats disposable “cute for a day” gadgets. Right-sized pieces = less waste. Shipping & Timing This CluckKit™ ships with farm supplies. Print-on-demand apparel/mugs in the same order ship separately. Clancy Crowed It “Bored chicks become peckers. Give ’em a playground, not a punishment.”
