Chevron Wood Box

Parquet Chevron Wood Box with Suede Lining — Set of 2 The chevron is architecture's oldest pattern — and on these boxes, it's as sharp as ever. Each box is constructed from individually pieced walnut-toned wood tiles arranged in a precise herringbone chevron across every surface — lid, sides, and base — creating a parquet effect that reads as both artisanal and graphic. The interior is lined in a warm cream suede, framed by a clean black edge that keeps the whole thing from veering too rustic. Sold as a set of two graduated sizes, they stack neatly or separate across a shelf without losing the visual thread between them. Use the larger box on a coffee table to corral remotes, matches, and the objects that accumulate without a home — the pattern elevates whatever company it keeps. The smaller sits naturally on a nightstand or desk, equally suited to cufflinks, rings, or a folded note. Stack them together on a bar cart alongside our Decorative Matches for an instant vignette with real depth and texture. On a bookshelf, nestle them between bookends and a small sculptural object — the chevron holds its own against spines and ceramics alike. For a more layered dressing table moment, position the smaller box open beside the Linea Madrona Burl Veneer Box; dark wood against dark wood, but the contrast in pattern and finish keeps it from reading matchy.
