These occlusive dressings were designed for the management of penetrating chest injuries in tactical, emergency, and prehospital environments. Both Sentinel and Beacon vented chest seals feature aggressive medical-grade adhesive intended to maintain adhesion in wet, bloody, or dirty conditions. The vented design allows trapped air to escape from the chest cavity while helping prevent air from re-entering the wound. Flexible construction allows the seal to conform to the body during movement.
