Chef'sChoice Model 1520 Professional Electric Knife Sharpener

Keep your knives sharp with the Chef’sChoice 1520 AngleSelect professional electric knife sharpener. The ideal solution for improved cutting performance on both 15 and 20-degree class knives, this knife sharpener works quickly and effectively to keep your knives in top shape with its three stage system. Using 100 percent diamonds, the hardest natural substance on earth, our patented abrasives sharpen faster and easier to create a sharp, longer lasting edge. This sharpener improves cutting performance by creating two distinct facets set at different angles that form a sharp, longer lasting, arch-sharped edge. The first stage sharpens 15-degree straight edge knives, while the second stage sharpens 20-degree straight edge knives. In the final stage, patented stropping disks create an unparalleled polished finish. Precision angle guides ensure accurate sharpening throughout the entire blade length and eliminate any guesswork. Featuring a black finish, this compact, easy-to-use unit is designed to work with both straight-edge and serrated knives. The sharpening time is approximately one minute for first time sharpening, while resharpening is approximately 10 seconds. Covered by the Chef'sChoice Three-Year Limited Warranty. WHY YOU NEED A KNIFE SHARPENER – Over time, a knife’s edge dulls under the stress of cutting. The overall performance can be significantly improved if sharpened and maintained correctly. HOW DO KNIFE SHARPENERS WORK – Good sharpening systems shape the knife edge with a coarse abrasive and polish with a finer abrasive.
