Checkers

Hi there! I’m Checkers, and I’m a gentle, easygoing boy with a nice balance of affection and independence! My Volhard 4 score reflects a cooperative, adaptable temperament with a softer approach to new experiences. I came readily to my tester and followed along, accepted handling calmly, and showed curiosity toward new sights and sounds without being overly bold. I even chased the retrieving object and brought it right back to my tester! I’m the kind of pup who should enjoy being part of the family while bringing a pleasant, go-with-the-flow personality along for the adventure. I’d love to meet you! 🧠 Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) I have undergone Early Neurological Stimulation from days 3–16, which helps me adapt more easily to new environments and experiences! Bear & Piper have both been DNA health-tested and are OFA Hip, Elbow, Heart and Patella certified (Piper’s hip and elbow are preliminary ratings)!
