Château D'esclans Garrus Rosé

A transcendent expression of rosé, Garrus is the crown jewel of Château d'Esclans. Crafted from a single vineyard of nearly century-old Grenache vines, this extraordinary wine is the embodiment of Sacha Lichine's visionary pursuit of rosé excellence. Undergoing an unprecedented winemaking process, Garrus spends eleven months in new French oak barrels, a revolutionary approach that elevates rosé to unparalleled heights. The result is a wine of astonishing complexity and power, challenging the traditional perception of rosé. Its creamy texture, rich spice notes, and enduring finish rival the finest white wines and prestige champagnes. Garrus is more than just a rosé; it's a statement of intent, a redefinition of the category, and a testament to the artistry of winemaking. TASTING NOTES Extremely perfumed with dried peaches, passion fruit and some mineral elements. Ever so subtle. Full-bodied, yet so tight and focused, with a really long and vertical texture of fine tannins and beautiful fruit, as well as bright acidity.
