Chasing Daylight

A 180-degree panorama taken standing on the frozen Yellowstone River in Paradise Valley during a vibrant, winter sunset. This photograph features Emigrant Peak, lit up by alpenglow while further to the west the sky burns with shades of red, gold, and orange.  I love the contrast of the ice in the immediate foreground, shades of clear blue and white, reflecting the sky as precisely as calm water does. The entire photo has a feel of time's passage wrapped into a single image.  A true 4:1 image, this photograph is offered at perfect resolution up to its largest size of eight feet long. Each piece is signed and numbered.
