Big Days Chase Rack Pro | 5 Bike Truck Bed Rack | Mid-Size

The Big Days Chase Rack System in the Ultimate Shuttle Build for mid-sized trucks delivers a full-featured, no-compromise setup. It is designed for crews shuttling multiple bikes on forest roads, bike park days, and group rides. This premium package combines the base rack, headache rack, five bike or eBike mounts, an optional lower stability bar, and a Heretic 40" light bar with mounts. Built in Utah, the system ensures reliable, repeat-use transport while keeping your truck versatile. This modular system uses a T-Track platform, making accessory swaps fast without blocking bed access. You can load bikes with the tailgate up, so your hitch stays available for towing trailers or accessories. Your truck’s backup camera also keeps a clear view during off-road maneuvers, crucial for safety. Bikes mount above the bed, safe from trail dust, flying rocks, and washboard bumps. This setup keeps bikes and truck safe from unwanted contact, even on rough rides. Engineered with proven materials, this truck bed 5 bike rack uses 3/16" A36 steel risers for strength. The 6560 T6 alloy crossbars deliver strong but lightweight support, and the 1/4" 5052 alloy mounts create tough bike hold points. The pedal-strap mounting system secures bikes firmly and offers flexible positioning for all frame types, reducing chances of bump-related damage. The optional lower stability bar adds security by reducing sway on rough roads or fast descents. Installation and Compatibility for Truck Bed 5 Bike Rack Installation includes all brackets and takes around 30-60 minutes. The bolt-on option requires four ⅜” drilled holes in the bed rails, with required tools detailed in product specs. This truck bed 5 bike rack fits bed widths of 40 to 64 inches. It accommodates trucks like Tacoma, Ranger, Colorado, Canyon, Frontier, and Gladiator. The upper crossbar is 61 inches (trimmable), and the lower crossbar measures 40 inches. Rack weight is about 70 lbs before the mounts, keeping room for other cargo or passengers. Besides biking, the T-Track base expands its value with easy swaps to ski carriers, dirt bike trays, or other seasonal setups. This flexibility makes it an ideal mtb shuttle rack for adventurers. Tonneau cover compatibility is supported with T-Track-equipped covers (adapter available) or roll-up and folding styles that leave at least 2" of the rail exposed. Solid one-piece covers and some tri-fold types may restrict full use.
