Charlotte 49ers Script Big Norm Tee

The script on this tee will help everyone know who you represent: Charlotte! This tee features the classic Big Norm lurking in the background, with a bold Charlotte script that is sure to stand out at the next Niner game. The logo appears weathered as if it was part of Bobby Lutz’s personal collection. I’m not talking about his coaching days. His days as a student. Beat that. The tee material is super soft, feels broken-in, and Normbulance tailgate ready. .: Logo size is 12” x 12” .: Illustration by Frate .: Canvas+Bella brand tee .: 100% soft cotton (fiber may vary by color) .: Light fabric (4.2 oz/yd² (142 g/m²)) .: Unisex shirts run slightly smaller About Big Norm Meet “Big Norm”, the big man that roamed campus since the school’s transition in 1949 from the Owls. Big Norm takes on the traditional bully stance, walking with his head held high and chest out, ready to take on any competitor. Most schools adopted this style logo in the 1940s, with some still showcasing their bully logos today (like NC State, Oregon, Notre Dame and Wisconsin). The logo was illustrated by Frate when he was bored during being quarantined during the pandemic, and is not affiliated with the Charlotte 49ers. About Frate John Iafrate, or as most know him as Frate, is the artist behind Big Norm and the tees you’re viewing in this shop. He currently is the senior creative director for LendingTree and runs this shop as a hobby. He has a huge passion for sports and a little sense of style, so here we are…and we hope you enjoy! Frate is a proud alumnus of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
