Charlie Hunter Combo Set

This bundle includes 2 popular videos by Charlie Hunter Over 7 Hours of Instruction! Charlie Hunter: Rule Breaking Landscapes Join rebel artist Charlie Hunter as he answers the one question he hears the most: “How do you do that?” Charlie is going to show you how to take what could be an overwhelming task — painting a detailed natural landscape — and break it down into easily understood components. This is what will help you solve the problems inherent in capturing unfamiliar scenery in a way that is unforced — because hey, it’s nature, it’s not supposed to be forced! This is where the beautiful magic happens, and you need to know this stuff! You’ll be able to apply these techniques to your own paintings in order to tell your own stories in your own way … it’ll be the new rebel you! And you’ll feel like you’re hanging out with Charlie and getting an idea of why he’s so cheerful all the time. And how he came to be a rebel and be totally OK with that. You might hear a few bad words, and we apologize in advance for anything off-color he says (but if you’re still reading this, we’re pretty sure you can handle it!). There’s also a one-on-one with Charlie and me chatting about lots of different things. You’ll get a digital gallery of some of his amazing work — definitely don’t want to miss this.   But seriously … Charlie may be his own unique and wonderful character, but he’s also a brilliant painter with much to teach. Guides the path so the viewer naturally follows along in the story Wields a sword brush like a swashbuckling pirate Strategically uses color so that value does the heavy lifting (is there more than just murky brown?) Avoids stepping in zebra poop (yes, he’ll explain) Applies cool marks with interesting tools, creating amazing effects that people can’t seem to figure out on their own (make a list for a trip to the hardware store!)   And you’ll get to see Charlie’s signature moves: The “Drink Coffee and Go ‘Hmmmmm’” technique The “You are So Stupid” maneuver His “If You Can’t Dazzle Them With Brilliance, Then Baffle Them With BS” routine The “How Dental Tools Can Improve Your Painting” shtick The “Squinting to Save Yourself From Having to Paint Every Damn Thing” miracle His “Avoid Marching Soldiers” mantra The “Paint Drips Make Great Tree Trunks” anecdote   And frankly, if nothing else, you’ll get a good laugh. This man holds nothing back. He even made our editors blush!     Charlie Hunter: Breakthrough Designs For Landscapes   Here’s some of what Charlie has for you that we’ve packed into this video: Invite mystery and intrigue into your paintings! When to render precise detail and when to JUST STOP! When one part doesn’t work with another part… [scratch head here] “Help, my brushes won’t do what I want them to do!” Obliterate problems before they even start! (Almost like having ESP!) Want to double or triple the impact? DO THIS! Add power to your paintings — here’s how! Clear the clutter (it only takes a few simple tools!) Tell the story simply, but powerfully! Don’t ever get caught without this ONE thing! Use this brush … no, wait … use that one (how to make up your mind!) “Help, my paintings are BORING!” Create a better story, more excitement, and wild drama!  And so much more!   You’ll see more of Charlie’s signature techniques and moves: The “No Hieroglyphics” technique The “Every Painting Is an Abstract Painting” maneuver His “No Smooching on the First Date” method Charlie’s “Take Away Everything That Doesn’t Look Like an Elephant” schtick The “Squeegee Giveth and the Squeegee Taketh Away” (Worship the Squeegee!) The “Things of God/Things of Man” miracle The “Let Go of Edges” deal (not as scary as it sounds!) "The Squint" thing (as Charlie learned it from the great Richard Schmid) The "You Are So Stupid" riddle (see it to believe it!) “Drink Coffee and Go, ‘Hmmmmmm…’” tactics (steadily drinking coffee since his last video!)   You know the drill. False compliments from friends and family. “Nice colors” or “Interesting subject.” But how often do you receive unsolicited comments like, “Who painted this? It’s amazing!” Yet there are only a few small adjustments in how you approach painting that will make the difference between whether or not you get compliments or sales! What would it feel like to finish a painting, step back, and smile because you know it’s a good painting and it turned out exactly as you imagined… What would an accomplishment like this do for your confidence and self-esteem?  How would it impact the way people respond to your artwork? Today, you’re going to see how to break through your frustration and make the paintings you’ve always known you could make! Paintings that tell stories, create excitement, and are packed with drama.
