Charley Davis Harmon Mute

Charley Davis is once again manufacturing his popular harmon mutes in both copper or anodized aluminum. The Davis Harmon Mute is defined by the broad color spectrum in its sound and its superb intonation, especially in the upper and lower registers. The copper mutes create an opulent, dense sound that is perfect for solo playing. The aluminum mutes project well and are great for section playing. These mutes are made in the US. Due to the handcrafted nature of these products, colors and styles may vary from the product photos. What is B-Stock? B-Stock items at Bob Reeves Brass are fully functional products that didn’t meet our strict cosmetic standards. These may include minor finish blemishes, small scratches, or slight discoloration—purely visual imperfections that do not affect the playability, sound, or durability of the product. Every B-Stock item is carefully inspected and tested by our team to ensure it performs exactly as it should. These items are ideal for musicians who value craftsmanship and sound over appearance, or for those looking for a great deal on a professional-quality product. Quantities are limited, and because each piece is unique, cosmetic blemishes will vary from item to item. All B-Stock items are final sale and are not eligible for returns based on appearance. If you have specific questions about a particular item, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help.
