Each rose is carefully hand-bred and grown using traditional methods, resulting in distinctive varieties prized for their charm, health, and elegance. Planting & Care 1. Planting: Choose a location that receives at least 6 hours of sunlight daily to ensure optimal growth. Dig a hole that is twice the width of the root ball but equal in depth. Amend the soil with organic matter to improve drainage and fertility. Place the rose shrub in the center of the hole, backfill gently, and water thoroughly to eliminate air pockets. 2. Watering: Water the plant deeply at the base, but infrequently, allowing the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. During hot and dry spells, increase the frequency but always ensure good drainage to avoid root rot. 3. Pruning: Prune the rose shrub in early spring to encourage healthy growth and abundant blooms. Remove any dead or crossed branches, and shape the bush to promote air circulation. Deadheading spent flowers throughout the growing season will encourage further blooming. 4. Fertilizing: Use a balanced rose fertilizer in early spring when new growth begins. Follow the product instructions for application rates. Reapply in mid-summer to support continued blooming, but be cautious not to over-fertilize, as this can lead to excessive foliage and fewer flowers. Key reasons to plant this rose shrub: - Beautiful, fragrant blooms that add elegance and charm to your garden. - Robust growth and disease resistance for low-maintenance enjoyment. - Long blooming season, offering continuous color from spring to fall.
