Chapin 8706A Multi-Purpose Hand Spreader

The Chapin 8706A puts all-season spreading in the palm of your hand. Seed in spring, fertilizer through the growing season, weed and feed as needed, and ice melt in winter — one compact tool handles all of it. The 1.6-liter poly hopper scoops directly from the bag, the easy crank delivers up to a 4-foot spread width, and enclosed gears keep debris from interfering with performance. A trigger gate control and thumb gate adjustment give you precise command over flow rate while your other hand works the crank. Lightweight enough to carry in one hand and simple enough to clean and store in minutes. Ideal for small plots, garden borders, and any area where a full-size spreader would be overkill. Covered by Chapin's 1-year limited warranty. Specs: 1.6 L hopper | 4 lb max load | 48" spread width | 12" L × 6¼" W × 7" H | 0.92 lbs
